Druid PVP/PVE.

well focus on hitting your cap first :D
second just respec resto and start out healing some 5man dungeons, like Udgrade Keep or Nexus.. (these are 80 dungeons of course) you are a loooong way from raid healing. you have to be fairly skilled.
REMEMBER to start collecting healing gear at around 76+. all the blue quest rewards you get should be resto gear. there is nothing worse than hitting 80, speccing resto and then having to heal in feral gear with 5000 mana. not fun..
so prepare in advance..
so 5mans, then maybe a 10man something or another. perhaps try a few 70 dungeons etc. people dont have much patience for learing healers, people dont like wiping :(
so practice with some of your friends first. and 70 dungeons offer you a chance to heal whilst not having to worry too much about wiping.
Healing is easy, but being a good healer is one of the hardest things in wow.
and a druid is certainly one of the hardest classes to heal with.. so yeah thats my advice Soulreaver :)
 
I don't do arena but I do alot of bg's. Bear form > DK. period.

Bash and charge are your best friends.
 
Yeah arena and battlegrounds are very different...
out ability to hot up then change to bear is insane..
but then again we cant do massive dps in bear like DKs can..
well you win some you lose some :)
 
dinged 58 and decided to get the winterspring mount. after a few hours of grinding im finally friendly with them... at this rate ill be lucky to be halfway to revered at the end of sunday...
 
ooooooh that takes AAAGES.. plus, dunno about your sever, but there shud be 100s of people camping the poor guys..
 
Too true lyerpald... Got attacked by a rogue and a priest yesterday, killed them both! bearform > rogue and catform > priest. i welcome their attempts to come and kill me, free HK. have any of you guys got that mount?
 
Just a quick update on the winterspring trainers. im 1/3 to being revered with them. i doubt it if ill hit exhalted tomorrow because i need to study... anyway, i got a lock that is helping me so it wont take too long
 
why not try level to 80, or at least 70, instead of grinding the mount? its way easier when u max level, plus u dont have to worry about being ganked or whatever..?
 
3/4 to revered. Wil get it in the next hour or so. I want to get the mount now because i dont want to run around outland on a 60% mount and i dont have the gold for expert riding skill. since im druid i dont need gold for flying skill. win-win situation
 
druids FTW!
once you hit outland you will start getting a LOT more gold than pre-BC. The quests pay a lot more and mobs drop more junk.. Dont worry about gold now :)
pick up herbalism and mining if u want cash(sure you've heard that before anyway)
Northrend herbs are selling great, and ore aswell...
 
1/3 to being exhalted! maybe i can get the mount tonight... i have herb and alchemy now. wil lvl it to 300 as soon as i get the mount. what i like about alchemy is that you can use the potions and elixers you make from low skill, even like 100 skill
 
need 8k rep for mount. unfortunately i cant play anymore til friday
 
Perhaps, but it is one of the most useful professions there are. no need to spend gold on elixers and potions in raids. plus i have skinning on my shammy and mining on my lock.

What is your riding skill? The Winterspring mount is the only 100% mount that need 75 Riding. The other 100% mounts need 150 Riding. But to learn Flightform, you already need 150 Riding, and you learn 225 Riding automatically when you learn Flightform (if you don't already have it).

Lyerpald is correct. You get a lot more gold in Outland. By the time you get to 68, you will have more than enough gold to buy all of your skills and forms.
 
I have 75 riding now. So to get 60% flight form i need 150 riding skill? and what about epic flight form?
 
For swift flight form, you already need to have 300 Riding. It costs 5000G and there is no faction discounts. Better start saving now :D
 
Yup. 300 riding is a pain. I would recommend ploughing all your spare cash into getting your tradeskills to 450 and then use the AH to earn the money back.

I blew through 3000G going from 430LW to 450 and by the time I had finished selling the stuff I had made I was back up to 3000.

A little more work on the AH and I am at 4500.

My biggest problem is that my real moneyspinner needs Arctic Fur and on the horde AH is is too expensive to make the item I make financially viable.

So I am off to the Alliance AH to buy it at half the price.
 
Luckily I took Herbalism and Alchemy. I got Herb to 450 in Dragonblight, the second area I visited. Alchemy was a tad more difficult, but not nearly as expensive since I gather all of my ingredients self. Personally, I think I made more from Herbalism than Alchemy though.

What I usually did was to take the quest reward that had the highest vendor price, if there wasn't an item that was an upgrade for me. As well as doing as many quests as possible. Doing all 25 dailies gets you about 300G, so that's useful as well.
 
Dont talk about money sinks..
My main has Enchanting/Alchemy (used to be Ench/Skinning{skinning was incredibly proffitable the first few days of wolk, then they nerfed arctic fur drop and price went from 200g a piece to 30g})
Enchanting cost me about 6-7k in total.. and now its extremely difficult to make money with it.. Well thats a matter of opinion anyway..
My lock has Herbalism/Tailoring.
Tailoring is almost impossible to make money, and a total waste if i look back now...those piece of cloth sell for a LOT more than any items that use em..and without my main being an enchanter it would cost even MORE to get the right mats.
My DK has Mining/JC.
JC is also insanely expensive.. But coupled with enchanting it makes HUGE money.. thats the only reason i do it..
in my opinion 2 gathering professions are the way to go, if you want to make money anyway.
