Hey guys

I need help!
My DS' top screen is giving me some problems... It makes some garbage you have to move it a bit to the just right position to get it clear...
anybody know if i can fix this? and where?

I can get you a replacement screen from my supplier for R250,
but will require you to do the very difficult installation yourself.

I would recommend that you phone up core and see if they can assist(if ds is still under warranty)

so there is nothing else that i can do about that screen? have to get a new one?
also i doubt that thing will be on warranty coz i bought it from someone else, and he lived in england, probably bought it there too since it had a uk plug for the charger

Phone up core and speak to someone there, and see if they will help out, even though its an import.

Thanks guys... I'll try it out... when i gots the money lol

will do imaginary... but its still working though... you just have to minuver it to the right spot... though it always works if you move the screen out completely till it cant anymore, but i dont like it... though my sisters usaully do it i anycase...
hey come to think off it its been a while since i last played... but my battery is always flat(for obvious *cough*sisters..etc*cought* reasons) or in their hands

I have a question that's a bit off-topic..
How far back is the top screen supposed to go?? coz if i move it back til it can't go anymore, it looks like it's further than it's supposed to be.

lol i know how you feel zaayid i got freaked out lol. coz it goes back all the way but you can still move it back a bit, and when you do (or atleast I) it makes a snap sound. but now that my screen is a bit messed up, moving it back all the way clears the garbage

yeah know that feeling.

aaaw screen getting worse, moving it back completely doesn't help anymore, this sucks. now you have to tweak it to the right position, gonna email core now to find out so long, till i have money(payday where are you!)

mmm i see Nintendo SA's site is back(ya i know its been on since june, but i didnt notice) and looking nice and quite helpfull.
but didnt help on my situation. but i mailed them now.
also I'm checking out some websites with tutorials on replacing the top screen, incase i need to get the screen from T2H and do the repair myself.
im checking out all my options first. oh and then theres also subtarrania that i need to cantact aswel.
will keep you guys updated.
So you guys are sure its the screen? cant it maybe be the hinges?

@Dr@g0nic ... Let us know how far you get. It could be something you do in your spare time for extra cash!

Like with me, started buying a few RROD 360s and fixing them up and selling on. I'll be doing legit firmware mods soon, by that I mean if you replace the drive of an Xbox, you need to get the motherboard key and flash it so that I can be recognised by the Xbox and used.

Since I'm in-between jobs soon, I'll be doing PC and 360 repairs full time.
