DSL 10MB

Hi guys

If my exchange is testing 10MB DSL, how do I request to be moved up to 10MB. I'm currently on 4MB.

Telkom will do it for you - they only supposed to be 'releasing it' (and in batches probably) from 1st June onwards... be patient man!

I don't know that either - all I know is that from 1st June, 10MB starts coming to visit...

I have a feeling that Telkom is going to surprise us all come June the 1st... I think they have the capability of bumping all their 4mb customers to 10mbs, but I think its shhhhhhhhhhhhh for now... Im pretty sure most/if not all their DSLAM's support 10mbs, regardless of what any of the telkom tech guys say. I may be wrong, but there's something in my gut telling me Telkom is going to do something amazing soon.

Edit: I rate we'll be seeing new packages come out soon, starting with 1 meg, 4 meg, 8 meg, 10 meg, 12 meg

384kbs -> 1meg
512kbs -> 4meg
4mb -> 8/10/12mb (depending on if the line can sync that high)

Honestly, I think 4MB is enough for everything, but then again, give me 1 min with a 10MB and I will wet my pants.
