Ive been having more or less the same problem...

Where are you? Do you know what exchange you connect to?

MPOA down

Wapadrand Pretoria east .. and yourself ?

I think MPOA = multi protocol over atm ... or something ...

What router are you using?

I'm also in PTA east. Elardus Park.

Using the 5100 telkom router.

The last 3 days I couldnt connect to my ISP (Mweb) at all.... :(

Waiting for a technician/phoning every day to check status of call.
The best part is when they check your line remotely and say "Sir, your line seems to be up".
And then I say: "I can SEE that, but FFS why can't I log into my ISP then?"

None seems to know why. I just hope the bloody techies know!

When you run your router in bridged mode, what windows error do you get?
I keep getting Error 678.
