DSTV APP : PROBLEM
A)
PROBLEM:
When I Download 5 programme episodes on catch up
After 2 hours or the next day
the downloaded programmes CAN’t PLAY.
ERROR MESSAGE:
“We are sorry
Looks like something went wrong”
Account Holder
Windhoek
Namibia
I am in Cape Town
iPhone 8. (10,4)
I ALLREADY DONE THE
FOLLOWING:
1)
Deleted the Dstv app.
Download app again.
Install the Dstv app.
2)
Checked allready for updates for latest iphone version.
Newest version was allready
installed.
3)
My brother (account holder) delete my DEVICE iphone8 on his account
AND
Re register my iphone8 again on his account.
(Show as iphone 10,4)

WHAT HAPPENING EACH TIME
If I keep the Dstv App OPEN
after the programmes were downloaded
Then the Programmes PLAY sometimes correctly.
As soon as I CLOSE the App,
then when I re open the App ,
then I receive a error message and cant play the programmes.
ERROR MESSAGE:
“We are sorry
Looks like something went wrong”
PLEASE ADVICE how to rectify problem.

QUESTIONS FROM MY SIDE:
a)
Are there any restriction on
the Account for Streaming device for example
Only first 2 programmes can be
watched?
Or
2)
Are there a setting on the Account at the DSTV call centre side on this account on your system, thats incorrect?
3)
Can the geolocation be the problem?
Or VPN configuration?
Its very frustrating and took hours of my time for about 2 to 3 months now.
Please help
Anyone here with same problem?
