DSTV stream not working on new iPhone

Hi guys. Thanks in advance. I recently changed from iPhone 13 to 16. However I can’t get the app to play anything. Occasionally it plays the ad before the show but streams nothing live or catchup. I get and error

Looks like something went wrong

I’ve tried deleting the app and re-installing. Rebooting the phone. Offloading the app and reinstalling.

Nothing seems to help. I’ve reached out to DStv themselves but they have not been able to help.

Any assistance or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks again
 
The other odd thing is that when I click device info it says I’m using iPhone 17,2

How many devices do you have set up using the same account using DSTV streaming? AFAIK there is some kind of limit and it's fairly low if I'm not mistaken.
 
Have you tried removing the old iPhone from the registered device list on the DSTV Stream app?
