why cant we just pick the channels we want and then pay per channel?
I wish DSTV would just wise up, charge us per channel, and then let us "configure" our own bouqet. That way I can choose which channels I'd like that fits my pocket and not be forced to pay a crapload of money JUST to get Discovery Channel and History Channel going.

Will be interesting to see if any of the ppl from DSTV pick up this thread... Doubt it though!

What a croc! I'm still waiting for the pay per channel. Until then they can go hopping!
Its def an ad....
Now just compare the crap DSTV has to offer to Sky TV in the UK...

Oh and they get a HD PVR decoder for 49 pounds...we are so being ripped off!![]()
There is the option as well to disconnect from the DSTV transmission completely until you choose to reconnect again, R50.00 reconnection fee.
I opted to _switch off_ two months ago and actually realised that I have not missed it all, save for this _advert_ reminding me again.
But now I am too busy using up my FREE 10GB bandwidth from WA that I doubt that I will opt to _switch on_ for quite some time
Maybe others opted to _switch off_ too, hense the need to advertise?
DSTV is a real rip off, i went to Vietnam earlier this year and Pay TV costs them around $6 a month for 60 odd channels and 2 of them are DSTV supersport channels.
