DStv call centre gets upgraded

Upgrading the consultants at DStv will result in a 100% better experience!! You can take monkey to a keyboard but you cannot make it type...
 
The last time I had to deal with one of their "consultants" the lottery had me talking to a guy that mumbled and was so insolent I lost it. When I couldn't stomach it any longer I asked him to put me through to someone with a brain. He disconnected the call, probably he didn't know anyone with a brain in the call center, or he didn't know what it was.
 
the randburg service center is seriously amazing. there are so many people working there, so many booths to work from, an amazing number call system. seriously awesome.

An amazing call center like that is just a testament to just how crap their product is. if their product actually worked, they wouldn't need such a hectic service center.

i suppose at least their ****ty hardware is creating jobs....
 
Right, I'm not all that clued up on call centre stuff....

But they've gone from a LAN based system to a UIP system.... isn't a UIP system a LAN Based system as well?

Haha :D.I find myself speaking to supervisors just to get simple things done.

Their self service system on their website used to be much more intuitive but they have dumbed it down and don't allow you to change your package on your own,instead they force you to call these types of people to do something as simple as change your package.

I mean really why the downgrade of the self service on the website DSTV?
