DSTV Callcenters down?

Hi

Can anybody reach DSTV through any of their numbers?

I've been trying all day, I just get a busy tone...
 
Keep trying the local number. "You are 52 in the queue and your call will be answered in 3 minutes. "

This means 25 minutes in real life and the operator will have a huge chip on their shoulder and the attitude of an ignoramus elevated to sit on a seat and use a computer (woopie).

It does not even ring. Just busy tone.
 
Its probably the only way dstv can prevent you from dropping your subscription:D


Maybe they on lunch, as im sure they have lots of time on hand now, discussing alternative measures,
or could they could be outsourced to help serve the 50 000 customers....who really require service...

I was just about to call to drop my subscription, sumone, anyone let me know when the ghost workers do
pick up........maybe then i will give it a try....... :)

I can't phone either... and my DSTV is currently a black screen and a menu for some reason
 
guys top tv is the bizznizz im glad i got rid of dstv.watching miami ink right now

After about 10 attempts it does ring.

You're right! Now if I can only get passed that bloody voice recognition system. Why do I need to give my ID number if they're not using it. And why am I paying almost R600 per month to watch long ad breaks while paying cell rates + VAS rates calling their general call center number.

I'm caller number 408 in the queue!!

grrrr... Checking out toptv now...

..checked it out.. Does not seem to have HD or PVR functionality.

THE CAPE TOWN number was engaged for about three hours tonight
I eventually got through and cancelled my DSTV >
 
The best is how People gives TopTV s*** because their line are busy. Do you think the reason for the ;ines being so busy is people Down Grading their systems to the ALL NEW DSTV LITE or is it just because they had the "infrastructure" to handle all the cancellations?
 
Woke up this morning to find my DSTV has been cut. Weird......
 
LOL trying desperately to hold on to subscribers lol... don't allow them to call and cancel...
