I want to know if it is possible to signup for DSTV Premium and then using the online Connect & Disconnect Services, stop the service during the week and re-connect come Saturdays for the remainder of the weekend?
Will I only be billed for the time connected?
Any connection charges to keep in mind?
 
Think you can only migrate between packages once a month without being charged. After that, I think they charge you for each time.
Therefore, by extension, presume that you'd incur charges 'jumping around' Premium about 8 - 10 times a month (cancelling & reinstating services twice every weekend).

2. How do I terminate a monthly DSTV Select subscription from Vodacom?
Contact Vodacom on 082-1-YEBO (9326). There is no charge to disconnect or re-connect the service.

So sounds like I can signup with Vodacom and have my account connected on weekends and disconnected during the weeks.
 
I would not trust anay Vodacom information on this. I had a wahe of a time trying to cancel dstv select with Vodacom. I now have a dstv acount and can migrate at will and at leat it works

Read further, point 3 states "...Please note that you may not request disconnection and reconnection more than twice a month."
