DStv cuts affordable package with KykNET

MultiChoice has informed its DStv Select subscribers that it will discontinue this service on 31 October 2019 and move them to DStv Family.

I once had Dstv Select , and then couldn't activate it again , and moved to the Family package. The Family Package is a better deal , except for the fact that you lose KykNet - you do have KykNet&Kie and Via though.

No interest in dealing with a racist company. Do not need any of their content either. Get all mine at a fraction of the price via online streaming and also the high seas where I cannot get something via streaming services. Since leaving DSTV the whole world opened up for me.

By the way, I see quite a bit of Afrikaans movies now showing up on Netflix. I wonder if these are movie makers giving their content licensing to Netflix instead of DSTV?

Dstv has raped the people and market for years. They getting worse and worse but hey that's the trend with most things in the country.
