On that note, moral of this story is that we [the subscribers] buy equivalent of one decoder worth every month trough subscription ...........and what do we get back .. one more rerun channel .. \

On the one hand we commend MWEB, on the other hand MultiChoice sucks - both from the same mother! By all means I hope MyBB made an error - 50% instead of R50 makes sense as a Christmas jolly offering!

R50 off!! OMG!! This is really going to upset the market! What WILL I do with the R50 I save? I don't know HOW they can provide this at such craaaaaazy low prices!

The two sons of Naspers. One grew up to be successful and a true pioneer, the other turned out to be a criminal.
 
If only our data prices were low, DSTV will be screwed. I think they all work hand in hand.

I agree. I do not have an issue with the hardware prices and as far as repeats go (and I also hate it), it will always be part of pay TV's broadcast model. It is the ludacris subsription prices and limited bouquet offerings that still keep a lot of people away from a DSTV subsription.

As far as MNet goes - they seemingly have gotten stuck on buying only a specific set of series each year for thepast 3 years (Housewives, Army Wives, that hospital strory where everyone cries the whole time and anything with CSI in the title).

There are so many other great shows out there. Maybe if they filled up there offering with this the subscription price would also not hurt as much.
 
In one of the interviews with representative of Dstv claim was made that they [Dstv] listens to their costumers and shapes the bouquets accordingly.

Hear this out, SPORTS ONLY bouquet!!!! That will be the hottest seller in the country ....... so Mrs Dstv spoke person how about that.......

I agree. Only thing is the sports only bouquet will be R500pm or something stoopid like that.
