I'm wanting to do the same with my iPhone and Drifta... where did you by the docking station, and how much did it set you back? Did you get the universal dock?
Just hooked-up the drifta at work, can't wait for the India vs SA test series. Only problem is work PC has 256MB of ram, don't laugh, (my android fone has double that) and doesn't stream properly, I'll just use my personal laptop instead. I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of the image. Now all I need is BBC knowledge channel instead of africa magic, and I'll be more than satisfied.

The iPad has screen dimentions of about 160mm x 220mm, does the image fill the iPad screen? What would you say the optimal picture size should be? What is the quality of the picture like at that optimal picture size?
Can someone post a video clip of any of the supersport channels at largest possible size PLEASE! I need to make up my mind whether to get the DRIFTA.
Very well said. I'm loving my Drifta on my iPad more than my iPhone.if you're a true sports fan, your mind should already be made up, mines in the xmas stocking alreadythe resolution is only 320 x 240, so don't expect miracles, if you want something as an example, go watch the streaming feed on supersport.com, thats about the best idea you can get without actually purchasing one, accept you won't have to wait for the caching as its a broadcast not a feed. imo get one, its only R600, if you don't like it, you'll easily be able to get rid of it for around R450 and you lose the cost of a case of decent beer
Does anyone have any idea of how long we should wait till we can use our WiFi enabled phones (i.e. besides iPhones) to catch Drifter signals?
Also, does anyone know if DStv or Nokia have any plans of bringing the DVB-H headset to SA any time soon? If so, when?
well, they have mentioned that they are looking at early next year for other devices to be compatiable with the drifta, for the blackberry I know they mentioned april 2011, and by headset, you mean handsets? nokia have got 2 phones that have dvb-h turners on-board and more should be coming out, not sure when though, personally i would go with the drifta as it will be developed to work with a range of different devices
Currently using the Drifta via PC on my 47" Sinotec LCD... with Windows Magnifier open as well... now that is what I call pixellation!
