This is exactly what happens when the Dept Comm's takes too long to set the rules and regs for DTT... everyone just launches their own satellite based offering... surely this is going to kill DTT before it even gets started???

What are the penalties if a country misses the international deadline for DTT in 2015?

With a choice like that miserable selection, I'll stick to downloading movies, series and documentaries.

OpenView and Freevision is born dead! Who in their right minds will get it! Nothing that is appealing!

Well it is a good alternative to an antenna and four analog channels that snow every time the microwave is turned on.

Why is this even competition? Most of these channels are available on ANY FTA decoder and a dish pointing to 38.5E

Which satellite is that ? Not the Intelsat 20 @68.5 E, but another one ?? Some of these channels might be encrypted and only available with a newer DVB-S2 receiver.

I must have missed something because I remember there being a cold war where the SABC was refusing to allow Platco to broadcast SABC channels on Openview HD.

@Jan, you should have added a 4th column to your table for TopTV with "-" in every cell under that column because TopTV doesn't have a low cost package/bouquet for less than R100/month.
