DStv Flex - MultiChoice's plan for a configurable DStv Premium service

So when they said it wasn't possible, what they meant was they didn't want to until they were forced to.

They're 3 years too late. I would have jumped on Sports Pack 2 since I only watch F1 and cricket. But they've been beaten to the punch by F1TV and cricket streams are easily available...

I wonder when that changed. You used to be able to watch from episode 1 to the latest released episode of the current season.
Yeah, that's not accurate. I fairly regularly watch previous episodes from multiple weeks back.

For sport catch up only has highlights and extended highlights

That is what's known as a satellite dish.

And it fell off the wall on it's own a few months back. Only the mounting arm survives. :D
Shame on you for treating your dish so badly that the poor thing tried to commit suicide. #ALLDISHESMATTER

Sorry DSTV Too little too late. you had your fun in the sun. The world has moved on. Offers like this won't win lost customers back.

It'd be interesting to know how many people stay for the entertaiment channels, and how many for the sport. My suspicion would be that techy people who are only there for entertainment (series / movies) have switched to a streaming service while those interested in sport have stayed.
A lot of the entertainment stuff like series and movies aren't on any streaming services in SA, remember the largest demographic in SA doesn't care about the international shows. Just look at the most watched shows in SA threads.

You priced yourselves out of the market - clearly, you have no clue about economics principle 101, and it goes something like this:

'Demand and supply determine the price'...if you then artificially hold your price high, good fcucking luck...
They didn't actually price themselves out of the market, premium users aren't even their biggest focus.

Yes, but with DSTV Now you are still stuck on watching it when it is 'broadcasted'. It is not like Netflix where I can watch at a time that suits me.
After it's broadcast you can watch it on catch up.
