Hi guys

I want to have my DSTV HD with pvr functionality running in 2 different rooms.

With standard TV I can simply run a coaxial cable and connect a TV link, but with the explora in this setup my second room will not be HD.

The other option I know of is to use a second HD decoder connected with a heartbeat to my explora. I'll then have HD but I won't have any pvr functionality, unless the second decoder is an explora. I don't mind buying a second explora but if I record something on the first explora will it be available on the playlist of the second explora? And vice versa.

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated, or if anyone knows of a better idea that avoids me having to buy a second explora, it would also be appreciated.

The cable needed between the two TV's is about 50m.

Thanks guys.

50m??! Eina that's far! I have Explora in lounge and HdPvr in bedroom. Linked with heartbeat which allows me to change channels on Explora in bedroom. Hd signal from Explora to bedroom tv via hdmi splitter and 10m hdmi cable through walls to bedroom. Works well. Look on avsupply.co.za for a good hdmi splitter and extension cable. Great prices and great service.
