DStv HD PVR, DStv Walka special launched

unless they give me a decoder for free in exchange for giving them more than half a grand a month... no thanks... in fact... just no thanks. and on the pvr... whats the point of recording something if its aired a zillion times over and over? so that maybe in case you want to watch something you have already seen 10 times for that 11th, special moment?

Their only selling point is sport...that's the only thing I've got dstv for... and sometimes, especially with golf, that's aired late at night pvr is useful.
 
That particular Walka is such a POS, they can't even give them away even if it comes with a free BJ.
 
Disconnected DSTV Premium 2 months ago, left the R30pm Basic Subscription, got a Walka 7 for the Sport (picture not brilliant but watchable, AND saving over R500pm. Got GIGA 20 (enough for series and movies). Not missing DSTV Premium at all. :)

PVR and sport are the only reasons I have it. I definitely dont have the time to make myself available then something I want to watch is on so I just PVR everything and its all sitting waiting when I do have time to sit down and watch stuff.
