DSTV HD signal

hi guys

could you please confirm what signal DSTV transmits for the normal SD channels and for the HD channels?

Im currently feeding DSTV though my PC using one of these

and was wondering if its even worth getting the new baby HD decoder...

I mean, will it look any better!?

Doubt it since current TV cards can't handle HD due to HDCP issues.

well this card CAN handle HD in DVB-T (it says so on the website) so why wouldnt it be able to take the HD signal from a decoder?

its really good hey. I havent had any issues with it so far, and Im using it with Mediaportal which is a little sluggish but nonetheless works well and keeps audio and video in sync if I pause/record etc etc

The PVR will only display HD via HDMI on a HDCP authorised device. Unless you pass it though an HD-Fury...
