DStv Mobile Android device support update

Don't see the use of this app as it only works on unrooted devices.
 
Couldn't get it to work. DSTV support was completely unhelpful. Called their call center and they told me to log onto the website and read all 25 pages of the terms and conditions and agree to them, then they hung up on me.

Tried to log on and activate it directly from the website, the device does not even appear there as an option.
 
Um, wait, here comes a blonde question... You download this app and watch DSTV?

And it needed internet to start up so with all my troubles when I had Cell C 3g I could not get it to start half of the time. + The signal in my aria isn't great + monochoice tried to double charged me. + Its not "compatible" :rolleyes: with my TF101.

Mine is in the cupboard, I should probably sell it.

Are these things worth anything on the used market ?

I temporary unroot via SuperSU, then it works.

But actually, the drifta is not really worth it. Only got it because of the current free subscription for premium subs.

Mine is almost useless, battery doesn't even last 30 mins - and i must have used the device no more then 10 times (cant believe the battery went to crap so quickly).
