I've been struggling to get the DSTV now app running smoothly on the Tab 10.1. 
After not being compatible with the Samsung stock rom (ICS 4.0.4), I Installed Cyanogenmod 10. Got it working but still bombs out every time after trying to stream. I.e play the video for about 3sec and then just goes back to the home screen. Anybody had success to get DSTV Now app working on Tab 10.1?
Also, CM-11 runs like a kitten on the S2 (I9100) and the DSTV Now app streams perfectly on the S2.
PS: Buying a new tablet is not yet an option
