Hi again,

Having spoken to the SuperSport guys, they say that currently only a selection of channels is being broadcast in HD because they currently have limited capacity in terms of systems and resources to do so. They're working to upgrade capacities and servers, which will allow them (and DStv Now) to offer more channels and in HD in the near future.

What data usage are looking at if we stream HD, Not exclusive to sport

I can just imagine the kind of resources needed to stream live sport in decent quality.

Hope they upgrade soon though.
 
Minix Neo U1 and DSTV Now App

Our DRM supplier doesn't currently support Minix devices, but we're working with them to try and get them supported. It's a bit of a lengthy process though. Sorry :(

Is there any time estimate as to when the MINIX devices will be supported by your DRM supplier? The SuperSport app works but not the DSTV Now app. So there seems to be some progress.
 
I have a weird problem with the app on my nexus player. Everything plays kinda dark.

If it says something about video can't be found it's a slow connection issue. Figured that out with all the AfriHost issues off late. Had an exceptionally slow connection and got those errors regularly. Disappeared on the AH Test account.
 
Hi. I just got the Minix U9 Android box and was hoping to use the DStv now app. It loads fine but when I attempt to stream something it says this device is being registered by another user. This is a brand new out of the box device. B how can that be? Any help appreciated

If that's true then why does my wife's phone that's a Samsung galaxy have the ability to view more live TV channels than my and my OnePlus 3? I can only catch SS3, SS4 and Ginx on the app plus all the catch up channels. PS, we're on the same wifi connection at home.

Because you have changed the option on what bouquet to display on your channel list on that device and she hasn't?
