DSTV makes more money from the lower income groups. Just drive to the loksheen and look at the number of satelite dishes.

No, but I have seen people buy the Openview appliance at Pep. They have access to Kwese Free Sports,

and obvious channels like SABC, e-channels and some other minor channels.

Open view is not bad, but nothing to write home about either

The main attraction is that once you have bought the decoder there are no monthly subscriptions, so you don't have to pay for your background noise.
