Its a no brainer, its all over the net, check out www.*******.com and www.*****.com, DSTV is just making it more convenient. At least I wouldnt have to wait for my notebook to boot up.
Seriously tho, its so readily available on the net, its not as if they introducing something new to us. Simply put parental control on the channel by default and those that want to watch need to unlock it.

I think that the most of the people who would say no to this new channel have kids. Parents may run a tight ship at home but they can't control where their kids are all of the time. Say at a friends place after school while the parents are at work. This is where kids will be watching porn... With the current night time porn, you know that your kids are asleep and not exposed to porn. I am not against the channel right now but if I had young kids I probably would be because they will be growing up with other kids who are exposed. Kids can already use the internet and cellphones to access porn though so...
 
If something like a porn bouquet is available, and parents subscribe to it, its there responsibility to keep it from their kids.

Sex is a fact of life, your kids are gonna learn about it sooner than you'd like. That sucks, but it's the way of things. It's always been like that, long before television and the internet, nevermind dstv porn. As I've said before, sex is our strongest drive because of the need to reproduce, you can't keep that from your kids, even though you may want to.
 
The thing out of all these comments against the porn channel that stands out, is the complete and utter stupidity and lack of understanding of the meaning of it being a separate channel that you would have to subscribe to (ie, not part of the current package you have). That and the parental block that DStv offers. Sheesh...

Well, if that's the case, then it's someone else's parents who are idiots. The responsibility lies with parents. We can't have a nanny state just because there are adults out there who should never been allowed to jump into the gene pool.

If sweeping the streets is so natural and unharmful then why wouldn't I want my daughter to become a street sweeper. Porn is available everywhere just because you were affected in a negative way it may not be the same for the next person. As far as I'm concerned porn on dstv is a non-issue make it available it's up to the individual to decide whether he/she wants to subscribe to the porn channel.
