DStv Premium per-viewing environment price

DStv Premium offers incredible value for money when considering the number of streams or broadcasts it allows per subscription after its recent changes.

In April 2025, DStv increased its concurrent streaming device limit to two devices on its Premium, Compact Plus, and Compact plans.

Sharing a subscription between members of the same household can make a streaming package much more affordable.
Sharing a sub between members of different households might make it more affordable, this however, does not.

Didn't they also increase their pricing at the same time?

Jesus christ, no shame

I wonder who the next entity will be who have successfully captured mybroadband. Back in the day we had RPM with OpenWeb and Vodacom. Now we have Jan and Multichoice...

It's kind easy to spot partner content. They always never have a link in the article to the actual forum thread - you know the shadow dropped partner without the said tag... but ja.

Holy fsck, but how slow are DStv at listening to and adapting to what people actually want? But no, it’s just ploughing on regardless with the same old fashioned linear tv model that went out with Noah’s Ark.

It’s actually quite remarkable how they have the Crown Jewels in their hands and yet they lose subscribers by the bucket load because they are too fscking stupid to adapt to the changes in how we consume our media.

Absolute dumb fscks. It’s infuriating.
