I've never owned a horse and I've never subscribed to DStv, both for the same reason:

Sure their "reason" would be "you can't have your cake and eat it" or "you can have one stream at 720p, or two at 360p. Our servers can't handle anything more"

Pretty much so. Their servers needed to handle those streaming PVR features as well.

Most of that rubbish channels they get for free in bundles with the more popular channels, so it wont reduce the prices.

They might get those rubbish channels, for free, but it costs them to make them available for viewing

1 - Stream via browser
2 - Stream on tablet app
3 - Stream on phone app rejected, stream limit reached.
