DStv price hikes kick in

Funny how the Rand is back to last year levels but they still pay more.
 
Watched DSTV at someones house a while back.
Freakin' ad breaks during a series :confused:
Don't know why people pay to watch media like it's 1985.
 
They asked me why I downgraded form "premium" to family R199pm.

Told them it was way too expensive, lady replies OK.

Thinking of cancelling everything, netflix and torrents supply my needs.

Went one further to access, just has news channels, some kids TV and TLC.

This is kinda off topic but it really pisses me off.

Local news channel ENCA is only available from compact to premium.You need to spend a minimum of R350 to access ENCA.

ENCA is the only news channel that isnt serving you propaganda everyday. Why doesnt DSTV include it in their cheapest packages? Why are withholding the truth from the masses.

ANN7(gupta news channel) is available on cheaper packages and there are plans to include it on the open view/free to air platform.

Etv need to address this issue and they need to offer news in African languages(zulu, sotho, xhosa, afrikaans etc.)

Yup also on "Family" as well. Not happy with the increase. That with the fuel increases & fairly big % jump with Discovery proving to be not such a hot 2017 so far
