DSTV price increase comes into effect

i paid my R529 the other day, it kicked in at the beginning of teh month.

Old news is old.

Why should we pay more, if they keep on showing sh*t on there channels.

Give me the option to choice my own channels that I want to view, give me the option, then ill gladly pay for what I watch

why is there an access fee for PVR ????? This makes no sense to me? As a consumer you already ***ked out 3k-4k for the hardware!?

Like all other monopolies in ZAR - they are milking the cow dry. But where else can I watch the sport ? Is streaming really a 'legal' alternative ?

I'd thought they'd have looked at new channels and offering more value for money, not more money for little value...

lol we now have uncapped dsl and new players like toptv what would posses them to increase there prices lol

Dude the trouble is the sport fanatics are getting screwed the most because we cannot say ok we will just download the stuff or stream it live, i am not sure my 300" hd projector will take a liking to a streamed football match :D.

Aggg but i still maintain the amount of sport i watch is worth the money, it keeps me busy all week/end long and there is practically no sport i cannot watch for 500 bucks a month. Not bad. I blow 1k on cigi's every month :(, drinking used to cost me a bloody fortune and i could drink out one month dstv in a night possibly two months if i landed at teazers or something went up my nose :D, that is one night. Now add in going to the movies another 100 bucks, dinner 300 bucks.

You need to pay more money to USE your buggy PVR Decoder?

whahahahaa!

DSTV has you guys bent over a barrel and you know it!

Rapidshare is all good and well but it still does not help us sport lovers, anyone paying 539 for dstv that does not watch sport though is a bit well ummm a nice word hmmmm silly :D.

I cannot live without my footie, f1, moto gp, rugby, cricket etc.
