I received an email from Multichoice, dstv premium bouquet going up from R559 to R590. Included is dstv mobile at no extra cost (to premium subscribers, t&c's apply).

I will be keeping the subscription for the Super15 and the Olympics... then I will be cancelling it more than likely.... R600pm is starting to get ridiculous... I can go to the pub and watch my sports instead for that money.

My solution, R20 DSTV Easyview for all the highlights on Blitz. R600 pm for repeats that's like R7200 per annum, you can get 60+60GB from 8ta for R1800 and stream the important games

DStv mobile is already included at no extra cost to premium subscribers

MultiChoice Fail! I give them 5 years before they fail. You guys say people will keep paying no matter what? They won't! The internet is changing the landscape. I stream my sports, and download my series and movies in HD ages before DStv gets them. And people ask why piracy exists.

This actually works quite well.Choose 1 or 2 major sporting events for the year and upgrade to watch those only.Stick to dstv light and download everything else for the rest of the time.
Let's face it,without sport Premium blows.
