We are looking for DStv and M-Net pricing in 2002.

MultiChoice said they do nit have that information any longer. It will be great if you can help us to get this info...

Multichoice claim to not have that knowledge within their entire company? So they're equally clueless in all tenses - the past, the present and the future...

Remember it being roughly R480 in 2008 if that helps

:wtf:

They don't? They should definitely have it... how else will they calculate growth, product growth, statistics, ......
It's not that hard keeping information of that sort :D

Multichoice are lying through their teeth....

They have that data... they just don't want to give it to you guys cos it'll be scary as hell...

Thanks for the feedback so far. If anyone has the 2002 cost it will be great,

I recall it being R380pm in 2003 for DStv. Back then there was only a single package.

This is worth Gold - thanks MickeyD. I looked everywhere (even Naspers results) - was nowhere to be found.

I checked my old bank statements and DSTV accounts... much to my wife's irritation! When she leaves the room I'll dig deeper into my boxes of accounts.

Big company like them will have a Data Wharehouse somewhere. They don't know what the 2002 pricing was, but I bet you they will know people who still owes them money from 2002

Yussie old toppie....

You must have been desperate for decent entertainment to occupy your kids then :p

I paid somewhere in the R5000 range for the equipment when it started. Got the Panasat 510 decoder (which had to be swopped when they moved to PAS/IS7) and a 95cm dish.
I did not care ... I was getting the SciFi channel!
