DSTV Reconnection

Guys i need your help to clarify few things :

My DSTV Compact Decoder was disconnected now i need to reconnect it , DSTV send me a letter as follows

Reconnection fees r50.00
Pro rata from 1 June to 28 June 2012 R234


What i would like to know is that it mean i have to pay the Pro rata from 1 June to 28 June 2012 r234.00 and again pay the R260.00 per month for Compact .Please guys can someone explain this to me before i make a fool of myself at DSTV Offices

Pro-rata will cover June's service and I would assume the R 260 will carry on for July. I am not sure whether you pay them in arrear or in advance

Thanks very much Chris4290 , So does it mean i can pay The R234.00 this month and be able to watch Compact for June without paying any other amount
