Dstv stream problem

Hoping that will change with Canal+ now.

Wow, that's a surprise.

Yeah its borderline unwatchable for me. I have IPTV so not a saint and 4K/UHD 50 FPS 5.1 audio on TNT Sports or Sky Sports UK is really something to behold but my word. Just watching 18 days of the Darts championship I know every saintbury ad word for word. Its too much I couldn't.

Even the Ashes series on TNT Sports vs Supersport. Can't even compare them when it comes to ad time. Supersport shows almost nothing.

Even when I worked nightshift the New Zealand Super Smash. Once its on you don't see any ads. The interval they play highlights of the 1st innings with a banner showing Interval. No ads. On TVNZ+ the original broadcast on IPTV loaded with ads. It's not an exact comparison because ad slots are different due to time zones and regions but still.

I'm lucky with my Supersport, very few ads at all mostly - have an old access that allows me to see the African version of the channels and they don't get many sponsors.
But quality is in SD. I'm used to it, doesn't really worry me.

Or when a match is on their old terrestrial "CSN" feed, use that as they have no ads at all.

DSTV? Who pays to use this shyte when there are myriad other options. All you need is a VPN subscription, choose your streaming service, Amazon Prime Video/Netflix etc, choose a USA VPN and Bob's your uncle. USA Prime Video has hundreds of live TV channels including RugbyPass, UFC, current British football FIFA/UEFA games, golf tournaments, tennis, F1 TV, and this is just sport, not to mention the latest theatrical movie releases and and and.

Bars and Guest houses that need to keep the inspectors happy ...
