DStv streaming limit will push subscribers away

As well. The price is decent. A MotoGP video pass is quite pricey though. Nearly R3k at the current exchange rate. May have to bite the bullet on that one...
Not worried about MotoGP at the moment. I'd have to find something for cricket and rugby, as well as golf and tennis (more minor sports to watch in the house).

If I could get formula 1 and motogp elsewhere, I would also leave in an instant.
For formula1 subscribe to f1tv pro. Used it 2021 i found it value for money. Also formula 1 app has live timings when you have a subscription

DStv streaming limit will push subscribers away

The only reason DStv continues to grow and make money is sport and local content, Wayne McCurrie from FNB Wealth and Investments said.

Speaking to Business Day TV, McCurrie said MultiChoice would struggle to compete against Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming services without sport and local content.

MultiChoice’s excellent SuperSport offering has been the main reason most people subscribed to DStv Premium.
They are really spoiling their pudding, it's just a matter of time that we find a way to stream sports then we done for good with them

Is this for the 699 streaming package only or also the 829 non streaming package which also allows streaming?

Why not allow multiple streams if the same IP is used? Limit it if multiple IPs are detected streaming at the same exact time?

Because... they are hopeless.

Greedy motherfu**ers more like it. If I'm not able to stream my sport while my kids stream whatever at the same time in the same household, they can go f themselves.

If they have the ability to track concurrent connections, they also have the ability to track IP addresses. So, if they had wanted to, they could have limited it per IP address, which actually would have been per household and might have made some sense. But they clearly didn't want to.

But limiting to IP address will have the same outrage? So I cant use at my house wifi and on my phone or tablet when not at home?
And the biggest outrage with limiting IP will still be from roofkykers, as in the case now

Agreed. They shouldn't be limiting it at all. End of. They limit the number of devices as it is. That should suffice. Every other streaming provider manages to do it that way.

Someone can't read too good.
