DStv streaming limit will push subscribers away

Well, that was fun while it lasted. Cancelled my streaming only subscription this morning, before month-end. What's the point of a streaming service that can only be watch on one device at a time? Madness. For Formula 1 I just pay the $10 per month and stream via their app. With a VPN enabled on the phone, I can watch 7s Rugby through their app, too. And that pretty much covers my sport needs...

I have DSTV for one reason to stream Soccer on my laptop.The alternatives Showmax Pro is more expensive unless I watch on my cell Another alternative which is much cheaper is Peacock TV but do not always get the Soccer I want so I will continue with DSTV Compact as it is the cheapest option for me at the moment

MultiChoice is also offering standalone DStv streaming packages. Pricing starts at R29 per month for an EasyView subscription and increases to R699 per month for a Premium package.

The premium streaming standalone package is R699. Still freaking wtf!!! though.
 
R700 for a streaming package, when we still have to pay for a data connection? I mean cmon man, then we might as well just take out the normal package, and get dstv now as a free addon

I think that R699 is only for the first 3 months.
 
Does anyone know of an app or website where one can stream dstv channels? I already have all supersport channels sorted, only some of the afrikaans channels i can't find anywhere. thanks in advance

Do u need to gave a VPN for peacock? What's the price in zar if u don't mind me asking?

As well. The price is decent. A MotoGP video pass is quite pricey though. Nearly R3k at the current exchange rate. May have to bite the bullet on that one...
