Is daar enige iemand wat ook elke aand vanaf so om en by 22H00 probleme ondervind met DSTV Streaming. Die program wat jy besig is om te kyk gaan net dood en daar verskyn 'n grys skerm. Ek probeer weer ingaan maar niks. Plug die streamer box uit en los af vir so 'n minuut. Lock weer in, dit laai die "Live TV" kanale maar sodra jy OK op 'n spesifieke kanaal, is dit weer net die grys skerm en niks laai nie dan moet jy weer uitlock uit DSTV en weer probeer en weer geen sukses. Hoor graag van julle.

No such problems for me. It may be related to your internet or the streaming device that you are using. Once this happens try an alternative source of internet e.g. If you were streaming on Fibre try LTE / your phone mobile hot spot.

Me and a couple of friends been going through the exact same thing every night from around 10pm onwards for about 2 months now and its irritating!
Most of us has Mi Box S few Ematic and one of them has a Nvidia Shield so not sure if its device specific...
Most of us on Afrihost and others on Cool Ideas
The bulk on Vumareach fibre and one other on Openserve fibre with Arifost
I think the app is fukt!
Another thing I can add is that I have an Explora Ultra in the lounge and when I do check its dstvnow app, it works flawless at the exact time the Mi Boxes is on a black screen...

Yes...every night at 22:30 like clockwork, DSTV NOW app stops working...its very frustrating.
I also use a MiBox with Afrihost as my ISP.

I fixed mine by clearing all data on the app and locked in again with the code on my TV screen.

I do this almost daily lol! Same crap a day or 2 later
This do not work any more. Now, I had to uninstall the DSTV App and then install it again from Play Store. Had to go through the whole process, at last you can lock into a program to watch. As soon as you want to change to another channel the black screen comes up and all over again (Uninstall, Install ) I am sure DSTV put some kind of obstruction into the App. Please where is your clever IT boys out there to fix this for us.

Managed to fix it (Android TV 11) :
1. Go to settings - > apps
2. Click on Dstv app
3. Clear Data
4. Force Stop
5. Uninstall
6. Restart device
7. Install again from playstore
8. Log into your Dstv profile online and add the code back.
Done

Done that a few times. Even reset the TV box and started from scratch.
Yeah, it works. Problem is that this must be done at least once per day! DStv being DStv again...
It works, but if you watch a channel for longer then 30 minutes and you want to change to another channel, black screen again and you had to do the whole setup again. The App is f^&%d, DSTV will do this on purpose, their wheels are falling off. Sorry to say but that is it.

Also having the same issue. Have Android TV on my TV and same problem. Very frustrating cos I watch sports highlights around that time at night.
