Dual code door/window sensors for eWeLink

I have it on iPhone, maybe it didn't make it to the Android app yet. On IFTTT, create a new applet from scratch, select eWeLink Smart home as the trigger service then check right at the bottom of the list of triggers.

The pics in the link clearly state that it works with eWeLink, and make no mention of Tasmota. The video also shows it working via eWeLink. We need someone to tell us whether Tasmota flashed devices work on eWeLink.

Sorry was talking about the comments for the GS-WDS07.

Anyway watched the video of the Eachen door sensor. Makes sense. Not just to see how I can put one into the gate motor box or add a waterproof project box .

I have put a SV inside the intercom in the house. It is setup in isolated mode (removed the resistors and using as a dry contactor). I use the 12v power from the gate motor battery (that also runs the intercom) to power the SV. I use the Trigger/Com wire pair to send the signal to the gate motor.

All fits neatly inside the intercom shell. As it is in the house it is close to the wifi. The gate was too far for good wifi signal. I wanted to add a light inside the house so that I can see if the gate is open or closed, as well as to see the gate status remotely. The LED on the intercom is fine if you are in the lounge.

No it flashes when the gate is moving, solid when the gate is open, double flash when there is a problem and flashes intermittently when there is no electricity charging the battery. If it is off the gate is either closed or there is no battery and no utility power.

what i mean is if you use that lights status to drive something else that you can see remotely, would you be happy with that? i.e you could make a small circuit that you could see the gates status using the sonoffs gpio

The thing is to get open or closed reply. No LED light could mean that it is closed or it could mean that the battery and utility are down. With opening and closing the led flashes constantly. That would send multiple consecutive signals.

These 2 code switches are cheap at R80. I have 3 normal Sonoff DW's. One is in my main safe. Think I'll put the other 2 in my other 2 safes and replace them with these 2 codes. I only have 3 doors into the house and then the gate.
