How do I check the total length of all my songs on my PC in Media Player 11? The older versions displayed both the total length and total size in the library but this one doesn't.

If you add everything in the library to the "Now Playing" list it should show the total length at the top if I remember correctly.

Nah, it doesn't have total length. I know it's about 50GB when I check the properties on the My Music folder, but I don't see the total length.

Strange, mine shows in Windows Media Player's "Now Playing" list...

Have you added all of the songs to the "Now Playing" list?

No such luck. Which version are you using? I know there seems to be two version MP11 - one where the shuffle button is represented as four horizontal lines, and one where it has two curved arrows that cross each other. I have the one with the four horizontal lines.

The one with the two curved arrows. I have to admit that I have not yet seen a different version of Windows Media Player 11...

But I see on Google Images that there are indeed different representations of the shuffle button.

Otherwise, just download and install Winamp, add everything to the Media Library and see what it says from there :) Or does it have to be Windows Media Player? :p

That's the nice thing about iTunes...it gives a nice summary of the total number of songs, the length of them combined and size at the bottom of the window :)

iTunes doesn't work so well with iBurst. Something to do with the ping messes up the streaming radio.

@WKJ?:beanie, that answers my question. I should install the same version MP11 as you. Not sure which one to install because both the setup files look the same, haha.

I got this one through Windows Update, maybe you should try that :)
