Oh gods, this brings back memories. I remember downloading DK1 on dialup. I think the demo was 100odd MB, and it took me 2 weekends to get with a download manager. I played that Demo until I found the game itself. Then I purchased DK2, I played for quite a bit, but it wasn't as brilliant as DK1. I think I eventually gave up as it got too hard. Those damned Giants that can walk through lava. They're a bunch of Biatches. DK1 is the way to go first.

I played and finished both DK1 and DK2 several times. As well as Theme Hospital. I actually just played Theme Hospital from start to finish last month for old times sake

The thing I liked about DK1 was that you could box your dungeon up so that nobody can attack you until your ready. Then just let you creatures train up to lvl10 while you go do other stuff. DK2 has Dark Angels. Try playing with 20 lvl10 Dark Angels They trash any mob before you can blink. In DK2 you could get 50 or so skeletons and leave them to pray at the temple. Then summon Horny permanently and watch him take out the the enemy all by himself!
