I'm a huge fan of Christopher Nolan but I won't lie, I wasn't really hyped up for this movie at all. Am getting a bit bored of war movies lately but holy **** a ****ing 97 meta?! That's insane even for Nolan. I'm really looking forward to it now. Who's hyped up?!

Saw a preview of this at IMAX when watching a movie late last year - might have been Rogue One - but those few minutes had me hooked.

I'm planning to go to the Cape Gate Imax to see this one. I'm iffy on some of Nolan's movies, but this does look great.

The review description I saw was think Micheal Bay's Pearl Harbor focusing exclusively on the attack on the harbor for the entire movie.

I'll go see it regardless of the critic scores

From 26 reviews which is impressive.
Might drop to about 92

That was my initial thoughts as well. Nolan movies are generally well received but it really seems as if he outdid himself this time. The movie is apparently a very fresh take on the genre.

I find my opinions and the metacritic results are generally at variance. I'm sure it will be good, but metacritic results for me are sort of like SA elections...

I hardly go by the scores.

Same but I've noticed that critics and the community are equally bad at times. It's just that this movie seems to be highly received by critics and audiences alike. That being said, the safest bet is probably to just go in with zero hype but I am a Nolan fan so I can do no such thing.

The problem is, I just don't see how they can tie Batman into this.

Hope it's really as good as rated and critics aren't critical for fear of offending vets etc. The news media seem to be riding on the emotions and that has me a bit worried.

I just hope people are not biased because it's Nolan. The Dark Knight Rises was pretty meh, yet everyone went bonkers over it.
I might have issues with the running time, because a story like this needs to be lengthy to be really pack a punch.
