Hi All.

I have a faulty DVD that isn't scratched but reads half way through and then gets stuck when I try to copy it on to my hard drive.

I assume it was a faulty DVD. It has multiple data files on it and it's not video files. I would like to recover as much of these files on the disc as I can.

I have tried multiple programs and none are working. They copy and then get to the part where it gets stuck and it doesn't move past that point on the disc.

Is there any program that I can use to recover these files?

just a long shot, have you tried it in a different drive?
 
I could be wrong but from my experience, if part of a disc is or has become unreadable no software is going to get that data off. I've noticed that DVD-R/+R discs tend to go "off" after an extended period of time and some of my much older DVD+R discs are now completely unreadable for some reason even though the discs are basically scratch-less.

yes i know what you mean, what i did is use poweriso and some of the data i could recover others not, as long as the dvd show in the drive, then you can recover some of the data
