E-toll protest planned by Cosatu

it's not about supporting COSATU, it's about being anti-e-toll

IF the march is purely about eTolling, then I support it.

If they try and bring other issues into this protest, then no I don't and won't support it.

If this, if that, then I'll do something, there's always an if for some people. I'm sure the poms and the yanks weren't too chuffed about climbing into to bed with Russians in WW2, but sometimes you have to take the lesser of 2 evils for the greater good.

COSATU protest or not, the best way to give SANRAL and etrolling the middle finger, is to not buy nor register an etag.

Problem is, if they tag other issues onto the eToll protest, then people will inadvertently be protesting for an issue that maybe they don't feel the same way as COSATU, but COSATU will trumpet the numbers to show how many people support the issue.

frankly my dear, I no longer give a damn

This is Cosatu's reaction every time that they don't get their way. Even though I don't agree with E-tolls, I will happily pay E-tolls long before I join one of their marches or strikes or "drive-slows". It comes down to simple hooliganism and it should not be tolerated.

Cosatu said you shouldn't kill yourself.

Now what?

Sorry I don't understand your comment.

My point is that when Cosatu protest and strike and down tools ANY other time everyone is against it, but now that their goals align with ours, their motives are true and pure and we support them. How convenient.
