Well, I think several organisations (including citizens) need to come to the protest table, simultaneously and united to make it effective....

Automobile Association (AA)
Transport Unions
Courier Company's representative - whoever they may be...
Bikers Association
Car Hire Company's representative - whoever they may be...
Every Company that utilizes transport for their business activities
Teachers, Students & just about every Tom, Dick, Harry & Seepoe that owns a motor vehicle.

Depending on the issue being tagged along with the eToll protest, I do.

I personally think labour broking is a good thing. Yes it might need more regulation, but COSATU don't seem to understand that if they do away with labour broking, they won't magically make those jobs still exist. Companies will find other ways to get the job done. The don't want the admin headache that temporary/casual staff can bring.

Anyone know what happened after their last eish-toll strike? Nothing, iirc. Wonder what they expect to change with this a second time.

The only solution to this is to put the word out that the gantries are loaded with expensive copper wire. Give it a couple of days, and they'll have disappeared from the map completely.
