E-tolls and tax

Navigating value-added tax (VAT) incurred by Gauteng’s e-tolls can be quite challenging

How convenient...

U scratch my back and I'll scratch your. As long as SARS is benefiting they will cut every corner.

So just another thing contributing to the mess.

Fsck you SANRAL.

What a mess. This is what happens when systems are implemented by people who have no experience of running their own businesses.

Wow, love how SARS just bends the rules for them, never knew that!

They will change any law/regulation necessary to accommodate etolls. Just look at the outcome from the National Consumer Council where it was also stated that Sanral was not in compliance with the act but that the laws will be amended to make them compliant.

So no surprise if we just see more of the same.

A government against the people, by the people

It's an amazing sight - a government that implements policies that its people universally hate, and yet those same people support and vote for that government, so that they can be whipped and beaten into cowering submission.

What we need is a good collection of laws that not only criminalise driving down the road, but also walking on the pavement.
