All e.tv is saying is that some criminals plan to target tourists during the world cup. If it means we can do something to make it safer for them and a more pleasant experience then I am all for that.

Their blood will be on your hands and on the hands of those who ignored the warning. It has nothing to do with the world cup success. It has to do with making South Africa safe for visitors. One example will suffice. E.tv has graciously provided that for us. The onus is on you to prove that the people interviewed were either lying or were in some other way not who they said they were. The fact that the police want to arrest them proves pretty much that the government regards them as a credible threat. I guess that blows your dispute out of the water.

My scaremongering? What scaremongering? Please show where I have been scaremongering? I am a realist. I think that e.tv is correct that there will be some tourists robbed during the world cup and I want to know what the pathetic and ineffective ANC government is going to do to protect them? If the health and safety of visitors to our country is scaremongering according to you then you are seriously screwed up in the head. Tourists are robbed in South Africa every day. I want to know what the govt is going to do to stop the crime. Has very little to do with the world cup actually. More like every day life in SA and tourism in general. I have no hidden agenda and I have already gone on record as saying that I hope the world cup is a great success and brings in a lot of goodwill and wealth for our nation.
