E220 Firmware flash interrupted, please help

I was busy flashing my E220 to the latest firmware and as per usual, we hit load load shedding, the progress bar must have been about half way. Now the computer, or any other computer doesnt pick my modem up at all. Is there any way to recover form this? I have tried re-flashing but the executable doesnt detect a modem.

They say that when a firmware upgrade is interupted, it may break your modem. I would think the possibilty of that happening gets alot bigger when something like Load Shedding happens while you are busy doing it.

Broken huh? dam. Does this mean I have voided my warranty as well?

Try it again without the sim and on an XP machine.

Depending on if and how you are insured, you might be able to put in a claim if Vodacom won't take it back.
