E272 Red Light Dimming ?

I wonder if anyone knows if the red light around the circumference of this modem is supposed to dim when opening or opening of a new web page?
Is this a sign that the PC power supply is laging in the supply of 5 volts?

Yes I picked up on this while the Vodacom Network Trialing Services at my QTH to assess the saturation/traffic in the area - I have a drasic slow down in speeds lately and was assured that this will be sorted shortly.
I like the description " Pimp My Ride" lights.

V3G - You have a manual to RTFM to? I got nothing at all with mine.

It's to signal that your modem is connected to the internet, by using the breathing "lung lights". nothing to do with speed/volts - just shows you are online.
