As far as I know the E8200 is faster :)

First major difference is that the 8xxx series have experienced a die-shrink (from 65nm to 45nm) leading to better yields in production (and possible lower prices in the future) as well as better heat characteristics

In my experience go with the newer processor. If you check out Tom's hardware site's (www.tomshardware.com) 2007 CPU charts the E8200 out performs the E6750 on every benchmark. What you might need to look at is what motherboard are you going to pair your processor with. They pretty much cost the same. Another plus is the E8xxx processors are less power hungry AND kick out less heat! BONUS!!!

+1 to 8200

Read in a review where it was compared to the 6850...think out of 8 cpu tests, it won 7...hands down!

Just google E8200 review

While I, too, would opt for the E8200, one has to remember that tomshardware has recently come under a lot of fire for their biased revieiws

E8400 would be the replacement to the E6850, though (AFAIK)
