EA tests Project Atlas game streaming service

EA launched a technical trial for its Project Atlas game streaming service on 10 September, allowing users to try out its cloud gaming platform.

This service will be available to users who signed up to the company's Community Playtesting programme, and will initially only be available for PC gamers.

What a waste of resources when Google, Microsoft and Sony are all creating something so much better.

They don't even have many games worth playing. Most major EA releases are stinkers with their monetisation models and/or actual gameplay. The upcoming Star Wars game is pretty much all they're good for, and they may still find a way to mess that up. Even FIFA has gone nowhere in years - just the same game with new kits.
