+1... agreed, except that's the same attitude everyone had before Secom's arrival, and of course we all pretty quickly saw the much doubted benefit of that one Let's just hope that the inland-bound link from EASSy's coastal landing station is good... because so far I'd imagine they're going to share such facility with Seacom/SAT3 which means if that national link dies, it doesnt matter how much redundancy we have to the outside world =(Well, it's always great news to know of another link to the outside world, but I'm going to adopt a wait and see attitude before I start jumping up and down with complete and absolute ecstasy. I don't think I'll ADSL accounts could fall tremendously lower, but hopefully some companies will start tossing their fair usage policy and shaping.

Supply/Demand, I guess? There's simply not enough demand... it's like opening up an 8 lane highway for a trickle of 10 small cars and a motorbike per hour for the entire 8-lane road? Pity though, I do agree with you ;(SEACOM 1.2Tb, 80Gb lit
EASSY 1.4Tb, 30Gb lit
Why make such pitiful use of these cables?
