... we need to start laying some massive national infrastructure to take advantage of all this new incoming bandwidth.

I fear this is another Seacom in the making. Ra! Ra! until 2 days after they land and then it goes all quiet again ... and hear the pin drop on the carpet!

If we are going ever truly break the shackles from Telkom, then it is going to need a national grid of sorts to firstly distribute from the landing stations and secondly distribute it to your and my front door.

Problem is, that costs money!

The most important is stable/speedy connections.

You haveto get value for money.

At the moment I'm still on telkom adsl because it's very stable, never get disconnected or any issues regarding connectivity.

They don't have either stable or speedy connections. Worse still is the fact that whenever they have network problems their call centre goes missing and so does the neotel rep on the forum. I am ditching neotel and so are many customers

yeah thats what I meant by sticking to Telkom's ADSL for now. Untill Neotel have resolved their issues.

Better yet, they should rollout ADSL. Wireless is crap
