Potential red flag from EE, they are doing a survey on whether or not to sell insurance on theirs platform.

Yeah, got that via email today. Why would you say it is a red flag? When they are expanding the horizon?

Then again I do not trust any insurance companies, bunch of vultures...

Seems out of left field. Makes me suspect that their main business isn't doing as well as they expected. Suddenly EE want to sell insurance when their main product isn't fully fleshed out as far as asset classes available to invest in.

This is speculation. Their finances are public and they are starting to do well. They've even had webinars on their finances. You are confusing red flags with broadening their offering and potential earnings.

That's like saying Vodacom is unsuccessful so that's why they're expanding into VoD. Companies expand, doesn't mean they're not doing well.

When are EE Tax certificates available for download or do you use your statements to calculate Capital Gains Tax? :)

The redflag me for is this seems EE lacks focus on their core product and customer base. I was just speculating on what type of logic would make them think about expanding into the insurance market

Well they are a financial company. EE has become a jack of all trades and master of none.

The thing is they don't. That is what is crazy. They go on till all the shorters have lost. This could end in tears or a lot of laughter depending at what point people cash out.

I think all early clever guys sold when it took off, convincing everyone to jump in and buy high leaving the rest stuck with overpriced shares and have no option but to hold and try to push up the price and convince everyone to buy more. The early bird catches the worm. No trader can say they are in it for "the cause", bluff is the name of the WSB game.

My TFSA is screwed because of poor decision making when I started it. While I did mostly offshore, I also had a decent percentage of it in Satrix Prop (WHY?). I bought at a high and it's still down around 50%. What gains I would have made have been negated by that.

I did the same thing with a Coreshares Top 50 ETF (WHY again). But it got to a point where I broke even and sold it to pump into Ashburton 1200.
This seems closed for new investment applications now.

Does anybody have any idea when the resale market for the properties on EP will open?
